Vipers SC cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Express FC at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on Thursday evening.
The emphatic win marked Vipers’ first points of the season after a disappointing opening-day defeat.
Milton Karisa led the way with a brace, while Fumador Asiwome also found the net for the Venoms.
The victory showcased Vipers’ attacking prowess and defensive solidity.
Karisa opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a simple tap-in after a shot from Ernest Ankunda rebounded off the crossbar.
Vipers continued to dominate, with Samuel Ssenyonjo’s powerful shot saved by Express goalkeeper Michael Kagiri.
In the second half, Vipers extended their lead through Karisa’s second goal and Asiwome’s powerful finish.
Express struggled to create chances against Vipers’ solid defence.
