Police FC, on the other hand, were held to a goalless draw by Lugazi in their last match. Coach Simon Peter Mugerwa is focused on improving the team’s attack and converting chances. He believes a win in this fixture could provide the boost they need to move up the table and maintain momentum.
Both teams will welcome back key players. Police regain Ivan Eyam, Brain James Obedi, and Daniel Otto, while UPDF are boosted by the return of Aggrey Kiirya from suspension. However, the hosts will still be without Andrew Kigozi, Hussein Zzinda, and Emmanuel Ocen, who remain sidelined with injuries.

Their last encounter, during the 2021/22 season, ended in a 2-2 draw. With both sides eager to return to winning ways, this clash is set to be a closely fought battle of forces.
