Bul FC claimed a decisive 3-1 victory over Kitara FC in an action-packed Uganda Premier League encounter on Friday, October 25, at Butema Royal Park in Hoima.
The win marked an impressive away performance for Bul FC, propelling them to 8th place in the standings, while Kitara FC’s struggles at home continued as they remained in the relegation zone.
The visitors wasted no time making their mark, as Martin Aprem found the back of the net within just three minutes.
The goal came from a precise cross delivered by Ibrahim Orit, allowing Aprem to slot it home and give Bul FC an early lead.
Building on this momentum, Bul FC doubled their advantage just minutes later, with defender Walter Ochora stepping up to score in the 10th minute.
Kitara FC managed to respond midway through the first half, when Arthur Kigundu scored a well-placed goal in the 26th minute, giving the home crowd hope for a comeback.
Despite the effort, Kitara FC struggled to gain control, while Bul FC maintained their edge in possession and playmaking.
The second half saw both teams battle intensely, but it was Bul FC who struck again, as substitute Dickson Matama came off the bench to score the third goal, sealing the game for the visitors. Matama’s goal confirmed Bul FC’s dominance and left Kitara FC with no way back.
The defeat marked Kitara FC’s third consecutive home loss, leaving them 14th on the table with four points and facing pressure to improve their performance in the coming games.
Bul FC, on the other hand, moved up to 8 points and climbed to 8th place, highlighting a promising start to their season.
