The draw for the upcoming CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers for the U20 Men’s National Team has been released.
Uganda Hippos have been drawn in Group B alongside South Sudan, Burundi, and Ethiopia.
The tournament will be played from October 6 to 20 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Uganda are the defending champions of the tournament, having defeated South Sudan in the previous edition.
The Hippos will be looking to defend their title in a tough group that also includes South Sudan, Burundi, and Ethiopia.
The other group in the tournament is Group A, which consists of Tanzania, Sudan, Rwanda, and Djibouti.
The CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers are an important tournament for the participating teams.
The winner of the tournament will qualify for the CAF U20 Cup of Nations, which is the qualifying tournament for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
