The draw for the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 was held on Monday morning, live on FUFA TV. The event featured Uganda Cranes legend and former vice-captain Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, who lifted the trophy with SC Villa in 2014.
Reigning champions Kitara FC were drawn against Kampala Region side CATDA FC, who play their home matches at Kakungulu Memorial School playgrounds. Joint record holders Express FC will travel to Yumbe to face Total FC from the West Nile Region, while KCCA FC will also head to Arua to take on Kuluva Rainbow FC. Last season’s finalists, NEC FC, will travel to Lira to battle Big League side Blacks Power FC.
The draw procedure featured no seeding, with all 32 teams placed in a single pot. The first team drawn in each pairing was designated as the home team.
This stage of the competition follows a single-leg knockout format. The team that scores more goals at full time will advance to the Round of 16. If a match ends in a draw after regulation time, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.

The Round of 32 fixtures will take place between February 19 and February 28, 2025.
