    • NEC vs UPDF
    • Police vs Bright Stars

NEC will look to continue their impressive start to the Uganda Premier League season when they host UPDF at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Tuesday evening.

The hosts have won their last two matches, defeating Vipers 3-1 and Kitara 2-1.

NEC head coach Hussein Mbalangu is confident that his team can maintain their momentum against the Army side.

“The recent victories have boosted our morale,” Mbalangu said. “We want to keep winning and solidify our position in the league.”

UPDF have also had a solid start to the campaign, collecting four points from their first two games.

However, they will be facing a tough test against a NEC side that is full of confidence.

    Team News:

NEC will be without Joseph Dhata, who is still awaiting his playing license.

Paul Mucureezi and Shamir Kimwero are also ruled out due to injuries.

    Head-to-Head:

The two sides have met twice before, with NEC winning one match and the other ending in a draw.

    Prediction:

It promises to be a closely contested match, but NEC’s recent form gives them a slight edge.
