UPL 2024-25 | Fixture
- KCCA vs Kitara
- Wakiso Giants vs Mbale Heroes
KCCA will lock horns with Kitara in the Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium on Friday evening.
The stage has been set up ahead of the highly anticipated encounter. Both camps stocked flames ahead of the game that will be played under floodlights.
KCCA head coach believes that Kitara is not a big side but rather just a side on form.
“I insist, my earlier statement was very clear, but only those not conversant with Ugandan football maybe failed to understand it,” the gaffer reaffirmed.
“They are a good team playing well and winning matches at the moment, but they are not a big team yet,” he added.
“Will they get big? I do not know what the future holds because we have seen teams like Victoria University come up, win a trophy, and later disappear.”
“We know who the big teams are, and that can not change overnight, but I am happy with the competition they have brought because it’s good for the game.”

For KCCA, Gabriel Joao, Kiza Arafat Usama, Poloto Julius, and Steven Munguchi will all miss the match.
On the other hand, Jasper Aheebwa, Solomon Okwalinga will equally miss the game due to a muscle and hamstring injury, respectively.
