UPL 2024-25 | Fixture
- BUL vs Mbarara City
BUL FC will be looking to break their winless streak and secure their first victory of the 2024-25 Uganda Premier League season when they face Mbarara City at Lugazi Stadium on Wednesday.
Both teams have struggled to find their footing in the early stages of the campaign, with two draws and a loss each in their opening three matches.
BUL head coach Abbey Kikomeko is determined to change his side’s fortunes.
“We’ve been working hard to address our scoring issues and we believe we’re ready to make a statement against Mbarara City,” Kikomeko said.
“It’s a crucial game for us, and we’re motivated to come out on top.”
The match holds added significance as Mbarara City denied BUL the league title last season.
However, Kikomeko insists that his team is focused on the present and ready to challenge for victory.
Team news for BUL indicates that only Ibrahim Orit is unavailable due to illness.
In their previous 12 encounters, BUL and Mbarara City have split the points, with three wins apiece and six draws.
The upcoming match promises to be a closely contested affair as both teams seek to establish themselves in the league.
