Amid swirling rumors linking him with a move to Coach Isabirye Musongola’s URA FC, striker Patrick Henry Kaddu has put an end to the speculation by committing his future to Kitara FC. The former KCCA FC forward has signed a new two-year contract that will keep him at the Hoima-based club until 2027.
Kaddu, who was instrumental in Kitara’s campaign last season, registered 5 goals and 5 assists, showcasing his attacking prowess. His decision to extend his stay is a big boost to the club as they prepare for the upcoming season.
The forward is fondly remembered for his achievements with KCCA FC, where he won both the Uganda Premier League and the CECAFA Club Championship. Internationally, Kaddu etched his name in Ugandan football history by playing a key role in helping the Uganda Cranes progress beyond the group stage of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt — a feat the national team hadn’t achieved in over a decade, under the guidance of coach Sebastien Desabre
