FUFA has come down hard on Paidha Black Angels FC after a storm of hooliganism marred their FUFA Big League encounter against Ntungasaze FC on November 2nd, 2025.
According to the FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP), disturbing scenes unfolded during the match as sections of Paidha supporters allegedly assaulted match officials, hurled stones at the visiting team, and showered officials with abusive language. The violence left one Ntungasaze player injured, prompting immediate disciplinary action.
In its ruling, the FDP revealed that Paidha Black Angels failed to guarantee safety and order both inside and outside the stadium, an explicit violation of Articles 14(8) and 14(9) of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code. The panel stressed that clubs hold the ultimate responsibility for maintaining security during league fixtures.
In a move aimed at stamping out growing concerns of hooliganism, FUFA imposed a trio of stern sanctions:
- Two-point and two-goal deduction from Paidha Black Angels’ accumulated league totals
- UGX 500,000 fine, payable within 14 days, with proof required by the disciplinary body
- A severe warning against future misconduct, with the federation vowing to escalate action if similar incidents recur

FUFA emphasized that these penalties are designed not just as punishment, but as a strong deterrent to safeguard the integrity of Ugandan football.
The point deduction has plunged Paidha Black Angels to the bottom of the 16-team FUFA Big League, leaving them stranded on four points as the season intensifies.
