NEC head coach Hussein Mbalangu has called on his players to stay focused and maintain their winning form as the 2024-25 Uganda Premier League season progresses.
The Lugogo-based side has enjoyed a dream start, securing three consecutive victories against Vipers, NEC, and UPDF.
Mbalangu attributed this success to the team’s improved consistency and depth.
“I’m extremely proud of the team’s performance so far,” Mbalangu said.
“We’ve been working hard to address the inconsistency issues that plagued us last season, and it’s paying off.”
Looking ahead, Mbalangu emphasized the importance of maintaining this momentum.
“We need to keep pushing ourselves and strive for more victories. This is how we can continue to grow as a team and achieve our goals.”
NEC’s next challenge will be against Express FC on Thursday, October 3, at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
As they look to extend their winning streak, the team will be aiming to solidify their position as a title contender.
