The clash between Kampala Queens and Wakiso Hill will get the 2024-25 Women Super League campaign underway.
Kampala Queens concluded the previous campaign with a 2-0 loss to Kawempe Muslim who were eventually crowned champions.
Since then, a lot of water has gone under the bridge, and a lot of changes have been made at the Lugogo based side.
The Queens of Soccer Captain Shamirah Nalugya underlined that they are taking every game serious because they are all important.
“We are taking every game seriously and will give our best to entertain our fans and secure three points,” she noted.
“Personally, I’m working hard to be the best so that I can help my team to win the trophy. The competition is tough, but we are ready,” she added.
In the previous campaign, Wakiso Hill finished eighth on the 10-team log after turning around their campaign late.
So they will not want to try fate once again, thus kicking off the campaign on a high and starting with a deserved momentum.
The two sides have faced off twice, and Kampala Queens have won both games managing to score three goals and concede only one.
