Uganda Premier League side NEC FC have ushered in a new era after confirming Kaddu Badru Mukasa as their new head coach on a three-year contract.
The appointment was officially announced on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, through the club’s verified social media channels, signaling NEC’s intent to rejuvenate their technical bench and strengthen their ambitions in top-flight football.
“We are delighted to announce that Kaddu Badru Mukasa is joining the club as our head coach,” read part of the club statement.
Kaddu joins from Express FC, bringing with him a reputation for tactical brilliance, leadership, and an unyielding hunger for success.
The seasoned coach is celebrated for his ability to mold teams into compact, competitive units capable of playing attractive and result-oriented football.
His arrival follows the recent departure of Hussein Mbalangu, who parted ways with the club after two years in charge. Mbalangu’s exit came in the wake of disciplinary concerns related to unprofessional conduct, prompting NEC to make a decisive change at the helm.
According to club sources, Kaddu’s appointment reflects NEC’s renewed vision of establishing themselves among the elite sides in Ugandan football.
The new tactician is expected to officially take charge of the team’s upcoming training sessions as he begins laying down his philosophy and preparing for the next phase of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign.
