Gavin Kizito has completed a move to Uganda Premier League side KCCA on a two-year employment contract.

The former SC Villa defender will be at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, until the end of the 2025-2026 campaign.

The development was confirmed via the club’s official website today, Friday, September 20, 2024.

“Gavin Kizito Mugweri has completed his move to KCCA FC,” the statement partly reads.

Kizito is a defender who is comfortable playing as a right back and centre half. He has previously played for Vipers JT, SC Villa, and Al Itthad (Egypt).

The defender expressed his excitement to the club’s website.

“I feel so excited and happy to join KCCA FC. I have an ambition to help the club win trophies together with my fellow players,”

“I am thankful to the club board, management, and head coach for having granted me this opportunity to join KCCA FC, and I will also re-pay their faith in me,” he stated.

He will largely compete for a position on the team with Filbert Obenchan, Musitafa Mujuzi, Hassan Muhamud, Haruna Lukwago, and Peter Magambo.
