Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Gaddafi FC has officially rebranded to Entebbe UPPC FC, marking a fresh chapter in the club’s history.
The name change was confirmed through the club’s official social media platforms in a statement that read:
“We are pleased to announce that FUFA has officially approved our request to change the club’s name from Gaddafi FC to Entebbe UPPC FC.
This marks a new chapter in our journey as we proudly represent Entebbe and UPPC in all competitions.”
The club, which previously hosted its FUFA Big League matches at Entebbe Works Grounds, will now play its home fixtures at Bugonga Fisheries Grounds, the same venue used by Buganda Regional League side Entebbe FC.
Entebbe UPPC FC also recently confirmed the appointment of Abdallah Mubiru as head coach, as preparations intensify ahead of their top-flight campaign.
In the transfer market, the club has unveiled three new signings: Stephen Munguchi, Hassan Ssenyonjo, and Mustafa Mujuzi, who were officially presented by the Printers.
