The FUFA Big League served up thrilling action on Match Day 10, held on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Blacks Power climbed back to the top of the 15-team table with a solid 2-0 victory over Paidha Black Angels at Akii Bua Memorial Stadium in Lira City. Paul Oonyu opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and Nathan Oloro added the second early in the second half to secure the win. With this result, Blacks Power moved to 19 points from nine matches, holding a one-point lead over Calvary, who have played one game more.

At Mbale City Stadium, Kataka continued their impressive home form, defeating Onduparaka 2-1. Ali Ssentamu put Kataka ahead in the 43rd minute, but the visitors equalized through Junior Andama’s penalty just before halftime. However, Usama Khayemba restored Kataka’s lead in the 51st minute to ensure their unbeaten home record this season remained intact. Kataka now sit ninth on the table with 13 points, four points clear of the relegation zone and five points adrift of the promotion places.

Busoga United finally celebrated their first win of the season, edging Ntugasaze 1-0 at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe. In Masindi, Buhimba United Saints secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Booma at Masindi Municipal Stadium, courtesy of Edison Agondeze’s 30th-minute strike set up by Davis Kakaire.

Elsewhere, two matches ended in goalless stalemates. Kaaro Karungi and Calvary failed to break the deadlock in Ntungamo, while Kigezi Homeboyz and Kiyinda Boys shared the spoils in Kabale.

The action resumes on Sunday, December 15, 2024, with key fixtures lined up. Onduparaka will host Kaaro Karungi at Aba Bet Green Light Stadium in Arua City, while Buhimba United Saints welcome table-toppers Blacks Power to Kigaaya Primary School in Kikuube District. MYDA faces Booma at Kongunga Primary School in Bukedea, and Ntugasaze takes on Arua Hill at Ssaza Ground in Mityana
