Uganda Premier League side Express FC has entered a sponsorship deal with SEMABET Uganda worth shs 500 million ahead of the upcoming campaign.
SEMABET’s partnership with the Red Eagles is set to last one year with an option for renewal.SEMABET is expected to give Express playing and training kits in the sponsorship agreement.
Ahead of the upcoming campaign, the sponsorship is a big boost to the Express camp as the club seeks to renew its old days.
In the same breath, SEMABET will support squad development, technical staff, infrastructure improvements and community projects.
Reports indicate that the partnership helped the club secure left back Mustafa Kizza who joined Express after parting away from KCCA.
According to Express CEO, Ashraf Miro the partnership with SEMABET is a game changer as Express attempts to improve their status on the log table than the previous campaign.
“SEMABET’s support will help us invest in our squad, technical staff, infrastructure and community programs, giving us a competitive edge as we aim for the Uganda Premier League title,” he stated.
Express will kick-start the campaign against Mbale Heroes on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
