Elyon continued their impressive start to the National Volleyball League season with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Prisons at Sport-S Grounds.
The young and talented team showcased their skills and determination, securing their second win in as many matches.
Silver Owinjo, the standout player for Elyon, was instrumental in the victory.
His powerful spikes and impressive blocking proved too much for the Prisons defence. Owinjo’s performance earned him praise from his coach and teammates.
“It wasn’t an easy match,” Owinjo admitted after the game.
“Prisons played well, and we had to dig deep to secure the win. We made some mistakes, especially in the second set, but we learned from them and came back stronger.”
Elyon’s victory over Prisons has solidified their position as one of the top contenders in the league.
With a talented roster and a winning mentality, the team is well-positioned for a successful season.
