In a hard-fought encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, BUL Junior Team emerged victorious over KCCA Soccer Academy, claiming the FUFA Juniors League title.
To reach the mark, the oil manufacturers secured a 1-0 victory in the encounter played at MTN Omondi
The decisive goal came from Richard Okello, who netted the lone strike in the 26th minute to secure the championship.
The match played on Sunday, was a closely contested affair from the outset.
Both teams cautiously assessed their opponents in the opening stages, but it was BUL who struck first.
Okello’s goal gave them a crucial advantage, forcing KCCA to chase the game.
Despite KCCA’s determined efforts to equalize, BUL’s defence held firm.
The Jinja-based side’s resolute performance ensured that Okello’s goal would stand as the winner.
The victory marked a significant achievement for BUL Juniors, following in the footsteps of their senior team who had recently lifted the FUFA Super 8 title.
