In a hard-fought encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, BUL Junior Team emerged victorious over KCCA Soccer Academy, claiming the FUFA Juniors League title.

To reach the mark, the oil manufacturers secured a 1-0 victory in the encounter played at MTN Omondi

The decisive goal came from Richard Okello, who netted the lone strike in the 26th minute to secure the championship.

The match played on Sunday, was a closely contested affair from the outset.

Both teams cautiously assessed their opponents in the opening stages, but it was BUL who struck first.

Okello’s goal gave them a crucial advantage, forcing KCCA to chase the game.

Despite KCCA’s determined efforts to equalize, BUL’s defence held firm.

The Jinja-based side’s resolute performance ensured that Okello’s goal would stand as the winner.

The victory marked a significant achievement for BUL Juniors, following in the footsteps of their senior team who had recently lifted the FUFA Super 8 title.

The young players’ success is a testament to their talent, hard work, and the club’s commitment to youth development.

    How they lined up:

KCCA XI: Ashraf Lukyamuzi (GK), Felix Obama, Pius Oyirwoth, Christopher Lubuuka, Patrick Sserunjoji, Amos Wabwire, Ismail Fahad, Brian Ijara, Gatbel Yian, Baker Musharaf

BUL FC: Rashid Wanjala (Gk), Reagan Budali, Denis Kyamanya, Yasin Masambo, Isima Malinzi, Eria Lubega, Richard Okello, Isa Sadala, Hakim Magoya, Gift Fred Mutalya, Ivan Maturu
