Agile forward Bukayo Saka is the latest addition to Arsenal’s injury list, thus creating a scare to the North London based side.
Shortly after the North London Derby, where Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory against bitter rivals Tottenham, the gaffer Mikel Arteta admitted that he hardly knows why Saka was pulled off the green.
“I don’t know (what the injury is). I made two changes with the front players, and suddenly, he was down. I don’t know exactly what it is, but he could not continue,” he stated.
Saka asked to be substituted before the end of the game. He walked straight to the tunnel after being replaced by Ethan Nwaneri.
Saka being injured will be a massive blow for the gunners, having created three assists and also scored in the ongoing campaign.
Arsenal’s faithful will be sitting on the edges of their feet that Saka’s injury is so minor, knowing that they also lost Martin Odegaard thanks to an injury.
Next on the Menu, Arsenal face Atalanta on Thursday before they take on Manchester City on Sunday, September 22.
